About Me
Engineer. Builder.
Problem Solver.
I've been writing software for over 12 years — from real estate frontends in Singapore to production GenAI systems in Dubai. This page is where I try to explain the person behind the commits.
Background
The Longer Version.
I started writing code in Bangladesh and got my first professional role as a Frontend Developer at Hei Homes in Singapore — building responsive real estate platforms at a time when most teams were still delivering static brochure sites. That early exposure to product quality and user experience shaped everything that followed. I moved into backend engineering at Pixelomatic in Dhaka, where I built secure REST APIs in PHP/Laravel and Node.js, then spent four years as a Senior Web Engineer at Wordsphere in New York, delivering enterprise web solutions and introducing CI/CD automation that cut release cycles from hours to minutes.
In 2022 I stepped up to Lead Full-Stack Architect at DIG in Los Angeles — architecting a real-time game backend on WebSockets and Node.js that handled 10k+ concurrent connections, designing a secure AWS API gateway, and leading a cloud infrastructure migration with 99.9% uptime during high-traffic launches. Since October 2023 I've been Senior Generative AI Application Engineer at EVU in New York (remote from Dubai), where I lead the architecture and delivery of production AI-powered SaaS platforms — including an AI website builder, an ad-space marketplace, and a therapist booking platform — and manage a cross-functional team of 9 engineers.
My philosophy is simple: software is a means, not an end. I specialise in RAG pipelines, LangChain, vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus), and LLM integration with OpenAI and AWS Bedrock. I gravitate toward the simplest solution that genuinely works, and I'll push back on complexity whenever it's being introduced for its own sake. 12+ years in, that approach still produces the best results.

Beyond the Screen
When I'm Not Coding.
I read a lot — mostly non‑fiction: systems thinking, cognitive science, and the occasional biography of someone who built something that lasted. I play chess badly but persistently. I cook Bangladeshi food for anyone willing to sit through a 90‑minute prep session. And I try to take at least one trip a year somewhere with no reliable wi‑fi, which is the only reliable way I've found to reset my brain and come back with better ideas than the ones I left with.
